About the Learnership
Metropolitan is offering an exciting 12-month Learnership Programme for unemployed youth who are interested in building a career in the insurance and financial services industry.
The programme is designed to provide young South Africans with valuable workplace experience while allowing successful learners to work alongside experienced professionals and gain practical knowledge of the insurance industry.
Through the programme, learners will have the opportunity to obtain a Wealth Management NQF Level 4 qualification while developing important workplace and customer service skills.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
Must be between 18 and 35 years old
Must be a South African citizen by birth
Must currently be unemployed
Must belong to a previously disadvantaged group

Duties and Responsibilities
Successful learners will be expected to:
Complete all required theoretical learning
Complete administrative and reporting duties within the required timeframes
Collate, compile and distribute documents according to required standards
Attend to customer and stakeholder queries professionally
Provide excellent client service and work towards meeting or exceeding service-level agreements
Screen and route queries to the appropriate stakeholders
Assist with resolving client queries
Maintain appropriate office housekeeping standards
Participate actively in the learnership programme and workplace learning
