Hollywoodbets is offering an exciting opportunity for 2 Data Capturers to join its team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The successful candidates will provide accurate and efficient administrative and data-capturing support, while assisting with financial records, reconciliations, reporting, branch and agent controls, and related administrative processes.
Job Purpose
The Data Capturer will be responsible for capturing, maintaining, verifying and processing financial and administrative information accurately and within required deadlines.
The role will also provide support to the cash control and finance functions by maintaining accurate records, assisting with reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and supporting reporting and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Data Capturing and Administration
Capture, process and maintain financial and administrative information accurately.
Verify information and ensure that records are complete and up to date.
Maintain organised electronic and physical records.
Ensure all documentation is logically saved and easily accessible.
Assist with data extractions, reports and administrative projects.
Ensure information is processed within required reporting deadlines.
Financial Administration and Reconciliations
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by capturing, verifying and allocating information.
Maintain subsidiary accounts by posting, verifying and allocating transactions.
Reconcile entries and investigate differences between accounts.
Assist with maintaining accurate and balanced financial records.
Identify, investigate and resolve reconciling differences and variances.
Monitor month-to-month variances and report discrepancies where required.
Assist with the preparation and review of monthly working papers and high-risk balance sheet reconciliations.
Branch and Agent Controls
Review daily ageing information and monitor compliance with applicable payment terms.
Monitor the status of control functions across branches and agents.
Provide administrative and operational support to the cash control team.
Ensure that accounts and supporting information are accurate, complete and submitted within required deadlines.
Escalate discrepancies and non-compliance matters to the relevant management team.
Reporting and Audit Support
Assist with preparing financial reports by collecting and summarising accounting information.
Assist with annual audit preparations.
Investigate and assist in resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and non-compliance issues.
Ensure corrective action relating to internal and external audit findings is implemented timeously.
Maintain financial records in a manner that supports future enquiries, investigations and audits.
Support the Financial Manager with specific projects, reports and data extractions.
General Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with finance, cash control, branch and other internal teams.
Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and business information.
Follow company policies, procedures and internal controls.
Meet agreed deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
1–2 years’ administration experience.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Previous experience in a data capturing, administration or financial administration environment.
Own reliable transport.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Previous experience within the betting industry.
Advantageous
Completed or currently studying towards a relevant Degree or Diploma.
Previous experience with financial transactions and reconciliations.
Experience working with cash control, branch administration or financial records.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
