Position Overview
Tracker is looking for a Stock Controller to manage the issuing and receiving of stock, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure stock is available when required across Fitment Centres, Technicians and Regional Offices.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage stock issuing and receiving activities
Capture and allocate stock accurately
Verify quantities and documentation for incoming and outgoing stock
Process approved stock requests within agreed timelines
Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment requirements
Provide stakeholders with updates on stock availability
Maintain clear communication with requestors
Escalate shortages, delays and service-impacting issues
Investigate stock discrepancies, variances and missing stock
Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Maintain records of investigations and outcomes
Accurately record stock movements on relevant systems
Follow stock control procedures and audit requirements
Assist with stock counts and reconciliation
Minimum Requirements
Matric / NQF Level 4
2–3 years' experience in inventory or stock control
Experience using inventory management systems
Strong problem-solving ability
Good attention to detail when analysing problems
Ability to identify root causes within your area of responsibility
Ability to analyse information and take initiative
