About the Opportunity
Spitz, part of AVI Limited's Spitz Group, is looking for a meticulous and organised Stockroom Controller to join its retail team in Tzaneen, Limpopo.

The Stockroom Controller will play an important role in maintaining efficient stockroom operations, ensuring accurate stock management and supporting the sales team by making sure the right products are available at the right time.
Your Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-organised stockroom, managing stock flow to the sales floor and implementing effective stock-control measures.
The role is critical to maintaining brand integrity, reducing stock losses and discrepancies, improving operational efficiency and supporting excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Stockroom Excellence & Efficiency
Manage the stockroom efficiently and accurately
Maintain high organisational standards for quick and easy stock retrieval
Implement effective stock-handling practices to minimise losses and discrepancies
Ensure back-office and stockroom standards comply with company policies
Maintain an organised and efficient stock-flow process
Stock Management & Loss Prevention
Ensure optimal stock availability on the sales floor
Manage the movement of stock between the stockroom and sales floor
Maintain accurate stock records
Investigate stock-related discrepancies
Monitor write-offs and loss control
Ensure stock losses remain within company standards
Prevent damaged or unsuitable stock from reaching customers
Ensure only quality products are made available for sale
Customer Service & Sales Support
Support an excellent customer experience by ensuring products are readily available
Assist the sales team with efficient stock movement
Ensure sales staff can access required stock quickly
Work with the team to maximise store profitability
Support smooth day-to-day retail operations
Safety & Compliance
Ensure the stockroom complies with applicable Occupational Health and Safety (OHASA) standards
Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment
Follow all company stock-control policies and procedures
Follow risk-management requirements
Maintain appropriate standards in all back-office areas
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Matric / Grade 12 – Essential
Minimum 2 years' retail experience
Experience in luxury or fashion retail will be advantageous
Strong understanding of stockroom operations
Knowledge of inventory and stock management
