About the Role
adidas is looking for a Permanent Part-Timer to join the retail team at Festival Mall.
The successful candidate will assist management with the day-to-day running and maintenance of the store while delivering an excellent customer experience and consistently following all store policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing the highest level of adidas service to every customer
Completing sales transactions involving cash, credit cards, cheques and other payment methods when required
Assisting with product ticketing and checking paperwork against received stock
Supporting the movement of products from the stockroom to the sales floor
Assisting with merchandise displays according to store management guidelines and schedules
Developing proficiency in the Point-of-Sale (POS) system
Maintaining transaction and system integrity by following company policies and procedures
Using selling techniques such as add-on sales to increase sales performance
Explaining product and technical information to customers
Greeting customers and helping them find suitable products
Acting as a front-door Greeter during busy periods when required
Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including cleaning the store
Safeguarding company assets
Monitoring the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity
Following loss-prevention and security procedures
Participating in in-store and digital training through platforms such as Atticus and AREA
Building product knowledge and understanding role best practices
Familiarising yourself with Power BI tools to better understand store performance, best sellers and "blackhole" products
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
A strong passion for retail and customer service
Ability to use initiative
Clear, confident and upbeat communication skills
Flexibility to work during weekdays, evenings and weekends
Adaptability and the ability to manage different tasks and changing situations
Previous fashion retail experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
