Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate, timely and effective execution of all ATM reconciliation activities within the Cash Centre.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily reconciliations, verifying control documentation and cash records, identifying and investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that all reconciliation issues and required feedback are reported to Head Office within the prescribed timeframes.

  • Planning and management reports

  • Investigations and feedback

  • Operational support functions

  • Client service and liaison between various parties

  • Assistance to settlements and branches

  • General, personnel and logistical administration

  • Daily checking of the ATM 200 system using control sheets, including EOD and reconciliation reports

  • Liaising with the Head Office Coordinator and driving the resolution of reconciliation issues

  • Liaising with the Branch Manager and Counting House to resolve reconciliation issues

  • Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of information required for planning and management

  • Regularly executing control procedures and verifying reconciliations and analyses before submission

  • Participating in regional strategic planning

  • Developing project plans aligned with divisional strategies

  • Developing and implementing control mechanisms to support strategic action plans

  • Supporting client retention through effective action plans

  • Keeping up to date with developments in the Security Industry

  • Ensuring that the necessary operational procedures and directives are in place

  • Supporting induction and training on operational procedures

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven understanding of the reconciliation process with an analytical approach

  • Good Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills

  • Good administrative skills and discipline

  • Strong people skills

  • Ability to work effectively towards daily deadlines

  • Ability to institute corrective action where necessary

  • Reviewing standard charges to ensure all services rendered are invoiced

  • Identifying terminated services that are no longer being invoiced to help eliminate unnecessary credit notes in the branch
