About the Position
Premier is seeking a reliable and hardworking Despatch Loader to join its Despatch team at the BR Mafikeng Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate loading and offloading of bread products while ensuring compliance with company procedures, stock rotation standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Load bread according to picking slips
Follow the correct pipeline loading sequence
Perform tray counting and tray balancing on delivery trucks
Attend daily invocom meetings
Ensure only quality bread is loaded for distribution
Maintain correct stock rotation using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle
Report loading-related issues and feedback to management
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational standards
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
Experience
Minimum of 3 months’ experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
Skills and Competencies
Understanding of organisational processes
Knowledge of business procedures and in-house systems
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Working Conditions
Required to work until the last truck has been fully loaded
Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
Required to work rotating shifts
May be required to relieve Despatch Clerks when necessary
