About the Position
Premier is seeking a committed and hardworking Bread Packer to join its Production team at the BRB East London bakery. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting daily production targets while ensuring product quality, food safety, and operational efficiency are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high product quality standards in the Production Department
Ensure excellent housekeeping and cleanliness standards
Follow all company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Support production efficiency targets
Assist with planned maintenance of assigned equipment and assets
Complete administrative duties and record-keeping accurately
Adhere to hygiene, housekeeping, and food safety requirements
Comply with health and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
Qualification
Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
Experience
Previous production or manufacturing experience will be advantageous
Skills and Competencies
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Willingness and availability to work shifts
Good communication skills
Leadership potential
Ability to work under pressure
Self-motivated and proactive
Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required

Working Conditions
Required to work rotational shifts, including:
