Purpose of the Role:

To provide excellent customer service by executing all point-of-sale and merchandising duties, ensuring customers enjoy a positive shopping experience.

Key Job Objectives:

Perform all point-of-sale (POS) operations efficiently
Ensure accurate scanning and cash handling
Promote and enroll customers into the Clicks ClubCard loyalty program
Inform customers of promotions to increase sales
Provide friendly and professional customer service as a brand ambassador
Maintain store merchandising and housekeeping standards
Stay up to date with product knowledge, promotions, and events

Knowledge Requirements:

Basic mathematical skills
Understanding of retail/FMCG operations, including:
- Merchandising principles
- Promotions and stock management
- Customer service standards

Education:

Essential: Grade 12
