Overview
The Water & Sanitation Department of the City of Ekurhuleni is seeking a suitably qualified Admin Assistant: Data Capturing to provide administrative and clerical support within the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing and maintaining accurate records, handling service requests, allocating work orders, and supporting efficient service delivery in line with Batho Pele principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the department.
- Receive complaints from the call centre and members of the public.
- Log complaints and service requests on the relevant system.
- Allocate work requests to the appropriate staff members.
- Monitor and close completed jobs on the system.
- Ensure accurate data capturing and record management.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Support Batho Pele service delivery principles and departmental objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and by-laws.
- Assist with asset management administration.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma in Administration.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar administrative environment.
