Job Description

As a Branch Support Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the laboratory and care centre environment.

The role involves providing reliable administrative and operational support, assisting colleagues and patients, and helping ensure that branch processes run efficiently.

You will contribute to a professional, organised and people-focused environment where colleagues can perform their duties effectively and patients receive the support they need.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 qualification is required.
  • 1–4 years of laboratory experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in a healthcare or similar operational environment will be beneficial.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Reliable and committed approach to work.

Skills Requirements

  • Ability to perform clerical and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Good communication skills when dealing with patients, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and processes.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail when handling documentation, labels and data.
  • Ability to work independently when required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional and friendly approach when assisting patients and colleagues.
  • Basic computer literacy.
