About the Learnership
Tronox Mineral Sands is inviting applications for its Smelter Learnership Programme 2026.
The opportunity is aimed at unemployed young people residing within the Saldanha Bay Municipal area who have completed Grade 12 and have little or no formal work experience.
Successful candidates will enter into a 12-month fixed-term learnership agreement with Tronox Mineral Sands.
This is a training opportunity and not a contract of employment. Completion of the programme does not guarantee permanent employment.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be South African citizens.
Be between 18 and 35 years old.
Have successfully completed Grade 12.
Have Mathematics and Physical Science — advantageous.
Be currently unemployed.
Have no criminal record.
Not have previously participated in a funded learnership programme.
Reside within the Saldanha Bay Municipal area.
Meet the applicable Employment Equity requirements. Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates in accordance with Tronox's Employment Equity Policy.
