Introduction
Boshoek Smelter is inviting applications for the position of Clerk (Human Resources Development). This opportunity is ideal for candidates with administrative experience who are passionate about training coordination, employee development, and HR support services. The successful candidate will provide administrative assistance to the HRD Department and ensure the efficient management of training records, documentation, and development processes.
Job Purpose
To administer Human Resources Development (HRD) activities and training processes while maintaining accurate training records, coordinating training logistics, and providing administrative support to the HRD Department.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Certificate in OD-ETDP, Office Administration, or a related field will be advantageous
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- 2–3 years' experience in a similar administrative environment
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Administering all Human Resources Development (HRD) activities and training processes.
- Capturing, updating, and maintaining employee and contractor training records on SAP.
- Creating and managing SAP catalogue requests for training events, qualifications, and competencies.
- Coordinating training bookings, venue arrangements, attendance registers, and training logistics.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and hard-copy training records and employee training files.
- Monitoring training documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and ISO audit readiness.
- Processing purchase requisitions and orders for training-related goods and services.
- Providing reception, telephone, and general administrative support to the HRD Department.
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee information and training records at all times.
