About the Position

Fidelity Cash Solutions is looking for a dedicated and reliable Box Room Controller to join its Port Shepstone Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receiving, sorting, distribution, and administration of consignments while ensuring accurate vault room operations and compliance with company procedures.

This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced security environment.

Main Purpose of the Job

To efficiently receive, distribute, process, and control consignments while maintaining accurate vault room operations and ensuring compliance with operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Vault Room Operations

  • Prepare for daily vault room duties.

  • Plan and coordinate vault room schedules for Cash-In-Transit (CIT) operations.

  • Balance the vault and ensure secure lock-up procedures are followed.

Consignment Management

  • Receive and distribute consignments to and from CIT teams.

  • Scan and track consignments accurately.

  • Sort consignments according to operational requirements.

  • Ensure all consignments are handled safely and efficiently.

Administration and Documentation

  • Complete all required documentation accurately.

  • Perform administrative duties related to vault and consignment operations.

  • Maintain proper records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Security and Compliance

  • Conduct searching duties where required.

  • Follow all security protocols and operational procedures.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Clear criminal record.

  • Computer literacy (compulsory).

  • At least 1 year of experience in the security industry or a similar role.

  • PSIRA accreditation with a minimum Grade C qualification will be advantageous.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Must be willing and able to work night shifts.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Physically fit and capable of handling operational demands.
