Job Overview
Midas is seeking a target-driven and enthusiastic Sales Person to join its team in Middelburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building strong customer relationships through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities

Manage customer/counter sales to reach maximum customer potential

Achieve sales targets as set by the Sales/Branch/Retail Manager

Plan, forecast, and report on customer sales potential

Monitor and report competitor pricing and activity
-
Provide updates on customer issues related to delivery, telesales, and account management
-
Drive revenue growth through new business and increased market share in the assigned area

Strengthen customer relationships and increase loyalty

Handle inbound sales inquiries

Provide quotations, pricing, and product/service information
-
Support other departments (Accounts, Despatch, Warehousing, Receiving, Technical) to ensure smooth operations and minimize customer queries
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
2–3 years' experience in motor spares/parts sales
-
Solid experience in a customer-focused sales environment
-
Good knowledge of the local geographical area
-
Technical background is an advantage

Strong team player

Some business acumen (understanding costs and break-even points in service delivery)

Able to work independently with minimal supervision
