Purpose of the Role:
To execute and support graduate and youth development programmes in alignment with the Shoprite Group’s strategic talent pipeline goals. This includes managing internships, bursaries, and youth employment initiatives while ensuring programme compliance, stakeholder engagement, and impact reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Programme Design & Delivery

Align programmes to business capability needs and graduate pipeline planning

Comply with legislative and policy requirements
-
Coordinate logistics (e.g., training schedules, inductions, mentorships)
-
Implement and support programme rollouts
2. Talent Acquisition & Engagement
-
Conduct recruitment campaigns at universities and colleges
-
Promote Shoprite’s employer brand via digital platforms and youth events
-
Build partnerships with academic institutions
-
Provide guidance to candidates and internal stakeholders
3. Monitoring & Reporting
-
Track and report on programme performance and participant outcomes
-
Maintain records for bursary holders, interns, and graduates
-
Produce monthly and quarterly reports for leadership

Conduct evaluations and gather feedback post-programme
4. Strategic Development & Innovation

Research best practices in youth development and graduate programmes

Contribute to the development of digital tools and platforms

Identify opportunities to improve programme impact

Support the integration of bursary and youth initiatives into wider talent strategies
Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma in:

Education

Or related field

Experience Required:
