Service Planner – Global Grade 09
Location: Boksburg Power, South Africa
Employment Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Planning & Coordination:

    • Prepare quotes and invoices.

    • Plan and monitor service jobs, including progress tracking.

    • Assist customers with internal and service planning processes.

  • Customer & Technical Support:

    • Provide technical and logistical support to customers and field technicians.

    • Support warranty claims and assist with quality administration.

    • Resolve both internal and external customer queries.

  • Reporting & Inventory:

    • Prepare required service reports.

    • Manage parts inventory and ensure availability for service jobs.

  • Proposals & KPIs:

    • Prepare and manage service proposals for customers.

    • Achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Required:

    • Qualified artisan (Trade certificate preferred).

    • Strong computer skills (MS Office, SIS, STW/ET, CAT Inspect, myCat.com).

    • Experience with warranty and quality administration.

    • Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

    • Understanding of field service and procurement processes.

    • Valid driver's license.

  • Advantages:

    • SAP and CRM experience.

    • Basic management qualification.

  • Detail-oriented and organized.

  • Business ethics and negotiation skills.

  • Strong time management and customer relations.

  • Familiarity with service work processes and systems.
