Main Purpose of the Job
To support the nursing unit staff by delivering safe, high-quality patient care that meets the healthcare needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities

Assist nursing unit staff in providing quality patient care using a team-based approach

Identify and report risks according to hospital policies

Help create a positive patient experience

Provide administrative support to nursing unit staff

Participate in continuous personal development to enhance skills

Use stock efficiently and ensure correct charging
Education Requirements
Essential: An appropriate qualification as a Care Worker
Desired: Grade 12
Experience Requirements
Essential: Experience in a healthcare environment

Skills and Knowledge Required

Understanding of stock control principles

Ability to report and document tasks and events

Awareness of medico-legal risks
