Purpose of the Job
To administer deceased estates and contribute to business value by identifying and referring sales opportunities across Nedbank Group. This creates a holistic value proposition for clients.
Key Responsibilities

Administer deceased estates in compliance with legal and internal procedures
-
Ensure estate assets are properly secured and insured
-
Communicate estate administration processes clearly with heirs
-
Collect relevant documentation and liaise with authorities
-
Draft cash reconciliation statements and submit for management review
-
Manage client relationships, addressing queries and complaints within 48 hours
-
Refer cross-selling opportunities to relevant departments
-
Ensure estates are finalised within 12 months to achieve client satisfaction and generate executor’s fees

Keep accurate records and provide regular updates to management

Maintain compliance with all legislation, policies and systems
-
Stay up to date with industry changes and personal development initiatives
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 6/7)

Advantageous: Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning
Experience
-
Minimum: 3–5 years of experience in a legal or banking environment
Technical Skills and Knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
