Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to assist with and fulfil the responsibilities of both the Creditors Clerk and Debtors Clerk when required.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Reconciling Creditors and Debtors accounts.
Performing various ad hoc administrative and accounting functions.
Processing Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) and invoices for payment.
Performing ICO balancing and clearing.
Filing and maintaining relevant documents.
Assisting with month-end processing.
Receiving cash and cheques.
Providing relief support to cashiers when required.
Assisting in other relevant roles when employees are absent or unavailable.
Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12.
A Certificate or Diploma in Accounting will be an advantage.
1–2 years’ experience in a similar environment.

Work effectively as part of a team.
Adapt to different responsibilities and provide relief in other roles when required.
Work additional hours during month-end and financial year-end, as well as when required by management.
Work over weekends when required.
Working Conditions
This is a 6-day position.
Shift work applies.
The position is deadline-driven and may involve working under pressure.
Additional working hours may be required at management's discretion.
The successful candidate must be flexible enough to provide relief in other roles when employees are absent.
