Learner Fire Fighter Learnership Opportunity
Sasol is inviting applications for its Learner Fire Fighter Learnership Programme 2026. This opportunity is designed for young individuals who are passionate about emergency response and fire safety and wish to gain valuable workplace experience while completing a structured learnership programme.
Successful candidates will receive both theoretical training and practical workplace exposure within Sasol's fire and emergency services environment.

4 Positions – Secunda
8 Positions – Sasolburg
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be required to:
Participate fully in the Learnership Programme.
Complete all required assessments successfully.
Attend structured learning sessions and workplace training.
Participate in workplace readiness activities and exercises.
Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures.
Develop the skills and knowledge required within the firefighting field.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 / Matric (National Senior Certificate).
A pass in:
Technical Mathematics, Mathematics, or Mathematical Literacy.
English or Business English.
Technical Science or Physical Science.
A valid Code B driver's licence or higher.
The ability to pass a stress and fear assessment, including:
Working at heights.
Confined spaces.
Fire exposure.
Cat ladders.
The ability to pass a Fire Fighter fitness assessment.
Be between 18 and 29 years old.
