Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an RC Administrator based in Brackenfell, Western Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting equipment counts, site assessments, and reporting across allocated Western Cape stores to ensure accurate equipment tracking, efficient recycling processes, and compliance with company standards.

This role is ideal for a well-organised individual who enjoys travelling, working independently, and interacting with store teams while ensuring operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) (Essential)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
  • Valid South African driver's licence (Essential)

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in customer service, retail operations, administration, or a similar environment
  • Experience with site visits, inspections, audits, or reporting will be an added advantage

Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to analyse information and identify discrepancies
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Customer-focused approach when dealing with internal stakeholders and store teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple store visits
  • Willingness to travel regularly and work in different store environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled visits to allocated Western Cape stores to assess equipment usage and volumes.
  • Engage with store management and employees to gather accurate operational information.
  • Perform accurate physical equipment counts and ensure all information is correctly recorded.
  • Capture photographic evidence and document any concerns, discrepancies, or best practices observed during site visits.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and bi-monthly equipment count reports, including variances, balances, trends, and operational statistics.
  • Compile summary reports highlighting risks, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Escalate urgent or high-risk issues to management promptly.
  • Provide on-site guidance to store staff on recycling procedures and equipment return processes.
  • Monitor follow-up actions and recurring issues to support continuous operational improvement.
