About the Position
The Western Cape Government Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport is inviting applications for the position of Administration Clerk: Section (Transport). The successful candidate will provide administrative and transport coordination support while ensuring departmental transport services operate efficiently and in accordance with government policies.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or an equivalent qualification.
Key Responsibilities
Provide transport administration and fleet management support.
Render supply chain clerical support services within the component.
Perform general administrative duties, including:
Recording, organising and maintaining correspondence and data.
Updating registers and handling enquiries.
Photocopying and distributing documents.
Typing correspondence.
Managing incoming and outgoing document registers.
Maintaining filing systems.
Provide financial administration support.
Assist with personnel administration and related clerical duties.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Applicants should have knowledge of:
Clerical duties and administrative practices.
Data capturing and record management.
Computer operations and basic statistics.
The legislative framework governing the Public Service.
Departmental working procedures.

Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary ranging from R237 453 to R279 708 per annum (Salary Level 5).
