Learnership Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for unemployed individuals who are eager to gain workplace experience within the mining industry through an HR Learnership Programme. The successful candidates will receive structured training and practical exposure in various operational areas relevant to the learning programme.

This learnership offers an opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills while gaining practical experience in a professional mining environment.

Purpose of the Learnership

The purpose of this programme is to provide learners with both theoretical and practical workplace exposure within the mining sector. Learners will be exposed to different functional areas and will participate in activities designed to support their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)

  • Comply with all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality requirements.

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Maintain safe working practices at all times.

Learning and Workplace Exposure

  • Participate fully in all learning activities as prescribed by the learnership programme.

  • Complete practical and theoretical training requirements.

  • Follow instructions provided by supervisors and mentors.

  • Attend assessments and workplace evaluations as required.

  • Gain exposure to relevant operational and administrative processes within the mining environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.

  • AET Level 4 or Foundational Learning Competence (FLC) will be accepted.

  • English and Mathematics with a minimum of 40%.

  • Good communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.

  • Must be able to obtain a valid Medical Fitness Certificate.

  • Must be willing to participate in a structured learnership programme.
