Spitz, part of AVI Limited, is looking for a Flexi Store Assistant to join its luxury retail team at Carlton Centre in Johannesburg.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about high-end fashion, footwear, and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will support store operations, assist customers with premium product selections, and help maintain the brand’s high standards of excellence and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

Deliver a premium in-store shopping experience.
Assist customers with product selection and enquiries.
Build strong customer relationships through personalised service.
Uphold luxury brand standards through professionalism and enthusiasm.

Cash Control & Accuracy

Perform cash desk duties accurately with zero variances.
Follow daily cash handling and banking procedures.
Process manual transactions when required.

Stock Management

Execute daily stock control procedures.
Assist with customer orders and fulfilment.
Conduct weekly stock counts.
Maintain organised storeroom and ensure stock integrity.
Perform shoe pairing and stock verification tasks.

Minimum Requirements

Education

Grade 12 / Matric (Essential).

Experience

6 months to 1 year retail experience (luxury or fashion retail advantageous).

Availability

Must be flexible to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading hours.

Skills and Competencies

Strong numerical ability and accuracy in handling cash.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
