Financial Administrator Opportunity
Feltex Foam is currently seeking a suitably qualified and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join its Finance Department in Durban.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the aftermarket debtors book, supporting creditors administration, assisting with costing functions, and providing financial reporting support to the business.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
Grade 12 / Matric.
Diploma in Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Debtors Administration
The successful candidate will:
Manage the aftermarket debtors book.
Ensure customer payments are received on due dates.
Monitor customer credit limits and compliance.
Process credit applications within agreed turnaround times.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
Compile and distribute daily and weekly debtors reports.
Handle customer account queries.
Calculate customer retros.
Attend customer onsite meetings when required.
Update customer selling prices.
Manage intercompany debtors and sales confirmations.
Raise requisitions.
Process GRN (Goods Received Notes) for non-stock items.
APDP Support
Assist the Cost and Management Accountant with APDP documentation requests.
Support APDP invoice administration and processing.
Costing Support
Create supplier part numbers on Syspro.
Assist with scrap and material usage investigations.
Support costing reports and analysis.
Accounts Payable
Match and batch supplier invoices, GRVs, and purchase orders.
Follow up on outstanding supplier and procurement queries.
Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies.
Management Reporting
Capture and monitor daily usage records for tube and sheet production.
Compile weekly production cost reports.
Assist with ad hoc cost investigations and reporting, including:
PPE expenditure
Pallet expenditure
Material usage analysis
Other operational cost reports
