The Teacher Intern Programme provides students who are pursuing teaching qualifications with the opportunity to gain valuable practical classroom experience while receiving professional guidance and support.
What ADvTECH Offers
Subject to meeting the applicable programme criteria, successful Teacher Interns may receive:
- A monthly stipend to assist with transport and tuition-related expenses.
- Participation in a structured coaching and mentorship programme.
- Practical teaching experience under the supervision of experienced education professionals.
- Exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities and expectations of a professional teacher.
Teacher Interns who successfully complete the programme may be considered for placement at an ADvTECH school after graduation, provided a suitable position is available.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- Currently registered for a relevant teaching degree.
- Must successfully pass criminal record checks.
- Permanent or provisional SACE registration will be a distinct advantage.
