Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
ABET Level 3, Grade 9, or an equivalent qualification (authentic school report required).
Ability to read and write.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of infection control, occupational health, and safety regulations.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Ability to rotate between different wards and units.
Added Advantages
Previous cleaning experience.
Exposure to a Public Health Sector hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be responsible for:
Mopping and scrubbing floors using cleaning equipment and machinery.
Washing windows and walls according to work schedules.
Performing high dusting and general cleaning duties.
Dusting tables, wiping door handles, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
Cleaning and replenishing bathrooms.
Cleaning bedside lockers, foot stools, and drip stands.
Emptying waste bins and cleaning spillages.
Collecting food trolleys from the main kitchen and serving beverages.
Reporting faulty equipment to supervisors.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment.
Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
