Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.

  • Understanding of Health Information processes and procedures.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Computer literacy skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Capturing and analysing hospital data on DHIS.

  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and managers at data generation points.

  • Supporting management through the provision of health information for strategic planning documents.

  • Providing health information training to managers and supervisors.

  • Monthly data capturing on Web DHIS.

  • Coordinating and participating in Health Information Verification Committee activities.

  • Ensuring compliance with District Health Information Management System (DHIS) policies.
