Purpose:

Pepkor Lifestyle is offering a 12-month Graduate Programme and an 18-month TVET Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunity funded by the Wholesale & Retail SETA. The programme is aimed at empowering young graduates with practical workplace experience, professional development, and exposure to the retail industry within one of South Africa’s leading retail groups.

The internship provides hands-on experience across different retail operations, systems, and business functions while helping graduates build leadership, communication, and workplace skills.

Requirements:

  • Degree, Diploma, or TVET qualification in:

    • Marketing Management

    • Business Management / Business Administration

    • Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology

    • Digital Marketing / Ecommerce

    • IT Project Administration / Project Management

    • Information Systems / Business Information Technology

  • TVET and HET graduates requiring practical workplace experience are encouraged to apply

  • Must be unemployed

  • Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID

  • Must be under the age of 32

  • Qualification must be obtained from an accredited tertiary institution

Key Duties:

  • Attend all onboarding, induction, and training sessions

  • Perform duties under the supervision of senior professionals

  • Conduct research and identify industry trends and best practices

  • Assist with projects and operational activities within different business units

  • Visit retail stores and locations for practical workplace exposure

  • Prepare and deliver presentations when required

  • Support business objectives through assigned responsibilities

  • Gain exposure to retail operations, systems, and processes

  • Maintain professionalism and teamwork throughout the programme
