Job Purpose:

To deliver excellent customer service through efficient point-of-sale (POS) operations, merchandising, and supporting promotions that create a positive in-store shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the point-of-sale system efficiently and accurately
Ensure accurate scanning and payment collection, including processing Clicks clubcard rewards
Promote and enrol new clubcard members to meet participation targets
Alert customers to promotions to increase sales
Provide friendly, professional customer service as a brand ambassador
Perform merchandising and general housekeeping in line with store standards
Maintain product knowledge to assist customers effectively
Adhere to cash handling and store procedures for safety and accuracy

Knowledge Required:

Basic maths and numeracy skills
Understanding of retail operations, stock control, and merchandising
Principles of customer service excellence

Education:

Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
