Purpose of the Role:
To oversee daily operations of the warehouse/stores, supervise staff, and ensure efficient, secure, and organised handling of stock, from receiving to dispatch. The role is responsible for achieving operational targets while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch operations
-
Ensure products received match Voltex packaging and quality standards
-
Monitor and manage supplier vehicle off-loading
-
Control access to warehouse – prevent unauthorised entry or removal of goods
-
Daily monitoring of stock levels and cycle counted items
-
Verify correct items, quantities, and packaging for dispatch
-
Maintain accurate paperwork for all warehouse transactions
-
Keep the warehouse secure, clean, and orderly
-
Assist in stock taking
-
Perform general admin duties as required
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
-
Matric / Equivalent – REQUIRED
-
5+ years in a warehouse/stores environment – ADVANTAGEOUS
-
Strong MS Office skills
-
Excellent knowledge of electrical products
-
Understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols
-
Familiarity with protective clothing and safety standards
