Job Overview:
Clover's Welkom branch is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Merchandiser to manage in-store stock levels, optimize shelf presence, reduce returns, and build strong relationships with store staff. The role ensures that Clover products are well presented, fresh, and readily available to customers.
Minimum Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 / National Certificate (NQF Level 4)

Experience: Relevant experience in merchandising or sales-related roles

Location: Based in or near Welkom (advantageous)

Language: Fluent in Business English

Availability: Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management:

Monitor and control stock in-store and in backup

Minimize and process returns
-
Prevent out-of-stock situations

Place accurate and timely orders

Merchandising:

Pack shelves according to store flow plans

Maintain clean and attractive shelf displays
-
Ensure correct product placement and labeling (PI labels)

Apply point-of-sale material correctly

Maintain fridge cleanliness and stock rotation

Relationships & Communication:

Build strong connections with store staff, Account Managers, and Clover colleagues

Enhance product visibility in-store

Ensure effective communication across all levels

Complete relevant admin tasks accurately and timely
