Job Overview

On the Dot is looking for a dynamic and energetic individual to join their team as a Service Centre Agent – Inbound, based in Ormonde, Johannesburg.

This role is customer-facing and requires excellent communication, data handling, and problem-solving skills to manage customer and publisher interactions effectively.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls

  • Manage customer and publisher complaints and queries

  • Import data, compile print orders, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders

  • Perform data cleaning and ensure accuracy

  • Analyse different types of data for reporting and operational improvements

  • Provide quick and accurate responses to customers for a positive experience

  • Engage with customers in a professional manner

  • Collaborate with different teams as needed


Educational Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Proficient in MS Excel (advanced level)

  • Familiarity with relevant software packages and data import tools

  • Strong data analysis skills


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Customer Service or Call Centre environment

  • Experience with general administration

  • Proven ability to handle difficult customer interactions

  • Experience in data evaluation and data imports

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel is essential

  • Comfortable working with customer databases and reporting tools
