Location: Durban, South Africa
Job Type: Full-Time


Key Outputs

  • Meet monthly sales targets for New, Used, and Rental equipment

  • Grow machine sales and rental hours within assigned territories/customers

  • Manage territory data effectively using CRM systems

  • Handle sales administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

  • Take ownership of personal performance and self-management

  • Manage the full sales process end-to-end

  • Market and sell the full range of BWE equipment

  • Achieve agreed sales and margin targets

  • Drive market penetration for underperforming products

  • Provide timely and accurate reporting via CRM and sales reports

  • Build and grow customer base through cold calling and prospecting

  • Understand customer requirements to offer tailored solutions

  • Manage time effectively to meet work demands

  • Comply with all BWE policies and procedures

  • Work independently without supervision

  • Keep customers informed about new and existing equipment

  • Provide machine application solutions to customers

  • Willingness to travel to visit customers and clients


Qualifications, Experience & Competencies

  • B.Tech Sales/Marketing Diploma or equivalent qualification

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate

  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in a similar industry

  • Fluent spoken and written English

  • Strong understanding of local business culture and practices (KZN)

  • Business planning and development skills

  • Knowledge of CAT product lines including accessories and tools

  • Technical understanding of earthmoving machines and applications

  • Ability to engage professionally with middle and senior management

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Process compliance and attention to detail

  • Self-planning and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Presentable with strong company representation skills

  • Willingness to travel and work additional hours as needed

  • Computer literate, familiar with MS Office; Salesforce CRM experience preferred

  • Financial acumen
