Administration Receptionist

Grade: Global Grade 07
Location: Rustenburg, South Africa
Employment Type: Full-Time


Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally manage internal and external customer queries via the switchboard

  • Handle incoming calls and perform general administrative tasks

  • Greet and assist visitors courteously at the Barloworld Equipment reception area

  • Support administrative staff with overflow tasks such as:

    • Word processing

    • Data entry

    • Internet research

  • Take ownership of personal performance and self-management

  • Handle purchase requisitions (PRs) to suppliers and manage related queries


Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate

  • Computer literacy, with strong Microsoft Office skills

  • SAP experience (advantageous but not required)


Required Competencies

  • Clear verbal and written communication in the business’s primary language

  • Professional telephone etiquette

  • Strong customer service skills

  • High attention to detail and sound judgment

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure (stress resilience)

  • Rule-oriented, assertive, and punctual
