Job Purpose:
To ensure timely and effective completion of all administrative tasks related to container movements, receiving, dispatching, and customer communication, in line with Bidvest IL's Standard Operating Procedures (QWI) and performance targets (KPIs).
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Computer Literacy in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Experience:
-
2+ years in data capturing
-
2+ years using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory management software
-
Experience with general admin tasks: processing, filing, communication (phone & email)
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
-
General admin and clerical tasks (mailing, scanning, faxing, copying, filing)
-
Maintain both electronic and paper-based records
-
Perform data entry and answer customer calls
-
Execute daily administrative tasks including:
-
Robbing & repack
-
Devanning
-
Inventory management
-
Container receipts & dispatch
-
Item creation in WMS
-
-
Participate in stock takes
Liaison:
-
Communicate with Intermodal Service Provider and client logistics team
Reporting:
-
Ensure accurate and timely reports are sent per client agreement
-
Monthly stats reports and daily operational updates
-
Monitor and act on live client call-off dashboard
-
Regular container inventory and yard verification reports
General:
-
Acquire and apply deep knowledge of customer and container processes
-
Perform any additional tasks as requested by supervisors
