Job Purpose
To manage a busy multi-line switchboard, direct incoming calls, assist visitors, and support the team with administrative tasks. This role is key to ensuring a professional first impression for clients and maintaining smooth communication flow within the branch.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and manage a busy switchboard

Receive and direct visitors and couriers

Handle incoming and outgoing calls, take messages or redirect as needed

Assist with basic administrative tasks (copying, filing, handling documents)

Ensure professional customer service and front-line reception support

Liaise with internal staff to notify them of visitors or messages
Minimum Requirements
-
Matric (Grade 12)
-
3 years of switchboard experience
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in a spares/motor/engine sales environment – Essential

Proven administration skills

Clear criminal record
