Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic sales of personal loans to potential and existing clients

  • Ensure a positive customer experience while meeting compliance requirements (e.g. FAIS, NCA, TCF)

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Meet or exceed sales and compliance targets

  • Accurately capture and process customer applications and documentation

  • Stay updated on product changes and competitor activity

  • Promote the Sanlam brand to increase presence in the market

  • Take ownership of customer queries, resolving them quickly and ethically

  • Maximize cross-selling opportunities based on customer needs


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a call centre environment

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar sales role

  • FAIS qualification required if the Date of First Appointment (DOFA) has expired or is close to expiry

  • RE not required

  • Completion of industry-relevant training courses is advantageous
