Job Overview
Takealot.com is looking for a driven and process-oriented Franchise Manager to support and manage delivery franchise operations across KwaZulu-Natal. This role focuses on setting up, training, monitoring, and auditing franchise partners to ensure service excellence, adherence to operational standards, and ongoing business success.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & SOPs

Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across delivery franchises.

Continuously monitor and improve SOPs and service levels.

Ensure franchise compliance with setup guidelines and franchise agreements.
Training & Support
-
Train new franchisees and their teams on systems, procedures, and service standards.

Serve as a hands-on consultant to improve franchise operations and performance.
Performance Management
-
Set and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at franchise level.

Conduct regular audits to assess execution and adherence to company policies.

Use data and system reports to measure hub performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Brand Compliance

Uphold and protect the Takealot brand in all franchise operations.

Enforce consistency in operational and customer service standards across all hubs.
Travel
-
Frequent local travel within the assigned region, with quarterly visits to regional hubs.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent

3+ years’ experience in top management or operations roles

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience in training, franchise operations, or regional management preferred

Retail, hospitality, or logistics background is advantageous

Proven record of execution and delivery
