Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Team Leader, the Support Assistant is responsible for producing high-quality, accurate, and consistent administrative work. The role focuses on completing detailed tasks based on defined standards, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs), with an emphasis on precision, consistency, and client service.

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Experience:

At least 2 years in an administrative role within the Financial Services or Life Assurance industry

Basic knowledge of industry practices and processes
Computer Literacy:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Internet)

Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Processing:
-
Upload and follow up on a variety of client service queries (e.g., change of beneficiary, debit orders, amendments, claims, etc.)

Capture applications within 4 hours of receipt and with a 95% accuracy rate

Monitor incomplete requests and follow up on outstanding requirements
Support to Intermediaries and Life Specialists:
-
Provide administrative support and documentation to Life Specialists and intermediaries

Generate and supply quotations and benefit statements
-
Assist in organising broker workshops

Manage stock of office forms and brochures
Quality Assurance and Reporting:
-
Ensure compliance with SLAs and service standards
-
Participate in annual system assessments
-
Perform routine daily tasks as part of operational support
