Duties & Responsibilities

Clean toilets, offices, equipment, and state property properly

Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively

Clean reception and offices daily
-
Empty dustbins and dispose of waste properly
-
Collect paper waste for recycling
-
Check and clean bathrooms twice daily
-
Dust office furniture regularly
-
Vacuum carpets at least twice weekly
-
Clean windows (inside) quarterly
-
Store cleaning equipment and products neatly
-
Help prepare boardrooms for meetings

Follow OHS Act requirements and company policies
-
Assist with other duties as required
Skills and Competencies

Good communication skills
-
Basic hygiene knowledge

Knowledge of cleaning products and tools

Ability to operate cleaning equipment

Understanding of cleaning procedures and policies

Basic literacy skills
-
Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays

Preference given to candidates residing locally
Qualifications

Minimum: Grade 11 with proven cleaning experience

Advantageous: Grade 12 certificate
