Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide administrative support to the Senior Manager and Component.
Minimum Requirements
-
An appropriate 1-2 year post-Matric Certificate (or higher qualification).

A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide general administrative support services.

Support the manager with meeting preparations and arrangements.
-
Assist with budget administration.
-
Analyze Public Service and departmental policies to ensure proper application.
Competencies Required
-
Knowledge of customer service principles and quality control.
-
Understanding of public administration and information management.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Proven computer literacy (MS Office).
-
Skills in strategic thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, planning, and organizing.

Ability to remain citizen-focused and responsive.
