The Service Champion role at Momentum Money focuses on providing seamless, professional, and empathetic support to clients using the Momentum Money product, ensuring every interaction reinforces trust and client satisfaction.


Role Purpose

To deliver exceptional client service by effectively managing and resolving client queries related to Momentum Money products. The Service Champion acts as a client advocate — ensuring timely, accurate responses, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with internal teams for efficient issue resolution.


Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (Accounting and Mathematics subjects preferred).

  • Computer literacy essential (MS Office; strong Excel skills required).

  • 1 year experience in a banking environment (preferred).

  • 3–5 years’ experience in a contact centre or financial services/investment industry.

  • Proven ability to meet and maintain performance standards.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients professionally and empathetically across channels.

  • Resolve customer queries promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy and service.

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Follow up regularly with clients, managing expectations and providing updates.

  • Maintain strict client confidentiality to mitigate reputational and compliance risks.

  • Escalate unresolved queries within required SLAs.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on product features, systems, and processes.

  • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient problem resolution.

  • Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and client-centricity at all times.
