Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Technician with a strong knowledge of maintenance systems and technical processes. The ideal candidate will use their skills to improve productivity and enhance technical efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT hardware and software
- Perform software installations and repairs on IT hardware components
- Assist customers with product recommendations and close sales
- Ensure efficient networking system support (advantageous)
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Adhere to company policies, processes, and system requirements
- Manage stress and conflict effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Work towards individual and team targets
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric (Grade 12), COMPTIA A Certified (Essentials & Core), N+ (advantageous)
- Experience: Technical knowledge and experience with IT hardware, software installations, and troubleshooting
- Skills & Competencies:
- Selling skills with the ability to close sales
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to network and build relationships internally and externally
- High level of integrity, self-management, and personal resilience
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Understanding of Incredible Connection and JD Group processes and objectives
- Target-driven with a customer-centric approach
