Duties and Responsibilities
As an IT Learner, you will:
- Gain exposure to IT environments, digital business operations, and technology-enabled business processes.
- Participate in structured learning activities and workplace projects.
- Assist with basic IT administrative and operational tasks.
- Develop problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Collaborate with technology teams, mentors, and colleagues.
- Learn about systems, applications, data, digital tools, and business technologies.
- Complete learning requirements towards nationally recognised qualifications.
- Develop professional workplace skills, including communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18 and 26 years old.
- Have strong academic results in English, Mathematics, and CAT or Physical Science.
- Have basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Have a genuine interest in technology, innovation, and digital solutions.
- Demonstrate curiosity, eagerness to learn, and adaptability.
- Have strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Completed Grade 12 / Matric.
- Passed English with 60% or higher and an additional South African language.
- Passed Mathematics with 60%.
- Passed CAT or Physical Science with 50%.
