Operator II – HEINEKEN Beverages

HEINEKEN Beverages is inviting applications for the position of Operator II, based at its Supply Chain facility in Springs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan shifts according to the production plan and escalate any constraints that may affect production targets.
- Ensure raw materials, tanks, production lines, ingredients and chemicals are available to meet production requirements.
- Perform blending activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Carry out autonomous maintenance tasks and prepare the plant for breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain “Right First Time” quality standards by completing all source documents accurately and fully.
- Ensure CIP compliance, including the use of clean and sterilised tanks, adherence to CIP schedules and tank swab schedules.
- Ensure the availability of chemicals required for CIP processes.
- Complete TPM module tasks as required.
- Complete all mandatory training.
- Meet Aspiration Plan targets, including skills matrix and training requirements.
- Maintain company safety, housekeeping and PPE standards.
- Report unsafe behaviour, unsafe conditions and near misses.
- Handle company products responsibly and with the necessary care.
- Contribute towards achieving maximum team productivity.
- Participate in DCS meetings to support effective teamwork and team performance.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Mathematics and Science will be advantageous.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Innovative mindset with a willingness to improve processes.
