About the Position
AECI Mining is looking for a motivated Operations Assistant to join its team in Rustenburg, North West. The successful candidate will assist with housekeeping activities, loading and unloading products, and supporting blasting operations while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric).
Must be able to obtain a Red Ticket Health Clearance.
Must be able to obtain First Aid and Fire Fighting Certificates.
Advantageous Qualifications
The following will be an added advantage:
MQA Blasting Assistant Qualification.
Handling of Dangerous Goods certification.
Valid Code B driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the MMU Controller in operating and managing the Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU/Blend Truck).
Support the safe manufacturing and charging of explosives according to AECI standards.
Conduct housekeeping duties across the site.
Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay, truck park and company vehicles.
Load and unload products into trucks.
Assist with charging blast holes.
Assist with closing and stemming charged holes.
Load and unload packaged explosives and blasting accessories.
Assist with measuring blast holes and other blasting-related activities.
Comply with all legal and safety requirements while working at the depot.
Ensure MMUs are maintained according to World Class Standards.
Perform other blasting-related duties as required.
