About the Position
A leading retail contact centre is offering an exciting opportunity through the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme for young South Africans seeking their first meaningful work experience. This 12-month contract provides valuable exposure to a fast-paced customer service environment while developing essential workplace and sales skills.
The successful candidates will serve as brand ambassadors, delivering exceptional customer experiences, assisting customers with product-related queries, and contributing to sales performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Deliver outstanding customer service and represent the brand professionally.
Assist customers by identifying their needs and providing suitable solutions.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Ensure customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
Sales Support
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
Identify opportunities to generate new sales.
Promote and sell a diverse range of products.
Stay informed about current décor, fashion, and retail trends.
Operational Support
Monitor and track sales performance against targets.
Assist with stock replenishment and merchandising activities where required.
Ensure the workplace remains customer-ready at all times.

Minimum Requirements
Essential Requirements
Aged between 18 and 29 years old.
Grade 12 (Matric) qualification preferred.
Available to work on a fixed-term contract from July 2026 to June 2027.
Must not have participated in the YES Programme previously.
Must not be studying full-time during the contract period.
Must not have been permanently employed by a single employer continuously for more than one year.
Must be able to arrange personal transportation where applicable.
