Job Overview:

Clover is seeking a Planner: Deployment to join its Supply Chain Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and monitoring stock deployment between factories, Central Distribution Centres (CDCs), and branches to ensure optimal product availability and freshness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (related to Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar field)

• Relevant experience in stock deployment or supply chain planning

• Advanced computer literacy (MS Excel and planning systems)

• Experience working with senior management

• Valid Code 08 Driver’s Licence

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stock Planning & Monitoring:

• Maintain and plan stock levels per warehouse and branch

• Achieve 98% Order Fulfillment Rate (OFR) to trade

• Monitor stock age daily and prevent obsolescence

• Investigate and report on obsolete stock

2. Deployment Forward Planning:

• Create and communicate monthly deployment plans

• Monitor deviations and adjust plans as needed

• Support primary distribution with balanced load planning

3. Load Planning & Coordination:

• Prioritize urgent stock and plan loads accordingly

• Ensure transport requests (TR) are generated and tracked

• Link delivery and loading points to optimize routes

• Coordinate with Primary Transport and warehouses

4. Space Utilization & Forward Planning:

• Monitor warehouse space daily

• Adjust deployment plans based on space availability

• Liaise with principals and planners on space constraints

5. Reporting & Analysis:

• Daily and weekly reports on warehouse and deployment metrics

• Monitor and report on OFR, warehouse utilization, short supplies, and freshness

• Compile and distribute weekly and monthly deployment reports

6. Parameter Reviews & Adjustments:

• Review and correct planning parameters regularly (order quantities, stock levels, calendars)

• Maintain accuracy in distribution data and system inputs
